29th Annual Order of the Pack, Campus Tradition Returns Sept. 10

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The 29th annual Order of the Pack pep rally returns to Centennial Bank Stadium at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, ahead of the Red Wolves’ first home football game of the season.

The Student Activities Board (SAB)-led rally is open to the A-State community and alumni.

Students will be introduced to A-State cheers and chants in preparation for the home opener against West Georgia, at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Organizations and students will compete enthusiastically for spirit awards, and the 2026 Homecoming theme will be revealed.

Attendees will hear from Butch Jones, head football coach, and other athletic and university leaders. A-State’s athletic teams will be introduced and The Sound of the Natural State, A-State’s marching band, will perform.

Before the pep rally, a tailgate will take place outside of the stadium at 6 p.m., with popsicles before gates open.

Order of the Pack will take place during Paint the Town Red, a week-long celebration organized by the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce.

The festivities feature several events, including a window decorating contest and the Great A-State Block Party, which starts at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, in downtown Jonesboro. The block party will have live music from Bloodhound, and the winners of the window decorating contest will be announced.
