Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – Arkansas State University officials are excited to partner with Sany Nutrition Group, a local Jonesboro manufacturing company, to launch its new protein snack, Beyond Resilience x Red Wolves.

The limited-edition caramel chocolate protein crunch bars will be available starting at 5 p.m. today during the Great A-State Tailgate, part of Paint the Town Red, taking place in downtown Jonesboro. The snack includes 15 grams of protein and is made locally in their new facility in the Craighead Technology Park.

Proceeds from the Beyond Resilience x Red Wolves protein snack will support the university’s Student Emergency Fund, which helps students experiencing financial hardship.

“The best partnerships are those that create an impact beyond the partners themselves,” said Dr. Erika Krennerich Chudy, vice chancellor for university advancement at A-State. “Our students demonstrate resilience every day, but unexpected circumstances can sometimes create barriers to continuing their education. By supporting the A-State Student Emergency Fund, Sany Nutrition Group and Beyond Resilience are helping us provide critical support during those moments and helping our students stay on track toward earning their degrees.”

Angela Pernsteiner, Sany Nutrition Group investor, said she is excited about the future of the partnership between the A-State and the company.

“Our partnership with A-State brings Sany Nutrition Group’s local-for-local strategy to life,” said Pernsteiner. “Beyond Resilience is built around the belief that adversity does not define the future—it helps build it. Together, we want to show that a healthy lifestyle can still taste indulgent—and that hardship can become the foundation for greater resilience and future success in life, business and sports.”
