A-State’s ASBTDC Releases September Sessions

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University will offer three “Funding Your Business” sessions in September for entrepreneurs and small business owners who want to learn more about financing a startup or existing business.

The sessions will help participants separate fact from fiction when it comes to business funding. Topics will include business loan and guaranty programs, SBA loans, microloans, grants and other financing options. Additional topics covered include common business funding challenges and ways to overcome them. 

The seminars will take place as follows: 

  • From 10 until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 9, “Funding Your Business” will be held at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce. 
  • From 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m on Thursday, Sept. 10, “Funding Your Business” will be held at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce. 
  • From noon until 1:30 p.m on Tuesday, Sept. 22, “Funding Your Business” will be held at the Delta Center for Economic Development in Jonesboro.

This training event is supported by federal taxpayer funds.
