Accident Blocks Northbound Lanes on U.S. 49

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – A traffic accident is causing delays on U.S. 49 in Craighead County.

According to Jonesboro E-911 dispatch, the accident occurred at U.S. 49 and County Road 702, in front of Nettleton Baptist Church. Northbound lanes are currently blocked.

IDriveArkansas says that injuries are reported in the crash.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes if traveling through this area.
