Annual Create@State Symposium Returns Thursday

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – Create@State, Arkansas State University’s student research and creativity symposium, returns for its 16th year.

The annual showcase will begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, on the third floor of the Reng Student Union, 101 N. Caraway Road.

The campus-wide event will include representation from all eight academic colleges and will showcase faculty-mentored work by undergraduate and graduate students. Presentations will encompass oral, poster, creative and applied projects.

Create@State convenes faculty mentors, campus administrators, staff and students to recognize student achievement. The event highlights the impact of hands-on, experiential learning at A-State and student innovation within the Arkansas Delta and beyond.

Attendees can expect:

  • Poster sessions highlighting innovative projects across STEM, arts, business, education, and other areas.
  • Creative and artistic works, including design, media, performance, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
  • Hands-on demonstrations and applied projects
  • Opportunities to meet student researchers, ask questions and discover how their work impacts the community.

Admission is free, and Create@State is open to the public. Prospective students, alumni and local partners are welcome to attend to experience A‑State’s academic strengths firsthand.
