According to the report, a 2019 Ford, driven by Mickey Ballard, 56, of Batesville, turned left in front of a 2025 Volvo driven by Michael Coffee, 45, of Clarkton, MO. This caused Coffee’s vehicle to strike Ballard’s.

The crash resulted in Ballard’s death. His body is being held at Emerson Funeral Home. Coffee was injured in the collision and transported to St. Bernards Medical Center.
