Burn Ban for Craighead County Lifted

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The burn ban that was issued on March 23, 2026, has been lifted. Due to recent rainfall, the ban is lifted effective Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Craighead County residents are encouraged to use caution when burning outdoors and not to leave fires unattended. 

Judge Marvin Day thanked all citizens for their cooperation in keeping Craighead County safe during the burn ban.
