Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The burn ban that was issued on April 13, 2026, has been lifted. Due to recent rainfall, the ban is lifted effective Friday, April 24, 2026.

Craighead County residents are encouraged to use caution when burning outdoors and not to leave fires unattended. 

Judge Marvin Day thanked all citizens for their cooperation in keeping Craighead County safe during the burn ban.
