Courthouse construction coming along

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 11, 2024 – Community leaders met on Monday to tour the new Craighead County Courthouse Annex construction project.

The project was first announced in February 2023 and is expected to be complete in early 2025.

The new annex includes three courtrooms, a FEMA-rated tornado shelter, and Quorum Court chambers.

The Quorum Court appropriated $5 million from the county’s general fund to pay for the expansion. Brackett-Krennerich was the architect. Ramson Construction Company is the project contractor
