Wreck in Jonesboro closes 4 lanes

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – A motor vehicle accident in Jonesboro has left multiple lanes closed.

According to Jonesboro E-911 Dispatch, all four lanes in the area north of Highway 49 and Clinton School Road, in front of Nettleton Baptist Church, are closed due to a wreck. Dispatch reported the wreck at 2:15 p.m.

Dispatch said the road would be “closed for a while.”

Craighead County Sheriff Marty Boyd told JRN deputies were at the scene for traffic assistance and that Arkansas State Police were working the accident.

At 3:32 p.m., dispatch said Highway 49 was back open and that traffic was flowing normally.
