Crews Responding to Accident with Injury in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The intersection of Main Street and Washington Avenue is blocked by a traffic accident with an injury, Jonesboro E911 Dispatch said.

Dispatch reported the accident at 12:12 p.m. and said the intersection would be blocked by police and fire units. Motorists in the area are asked to use alternate routes.

Jonesboro Police Department public information official Sally Smith said a car stopped at the intersection for a pedestrian when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. She added that the call came in around 12:01 p.m.

At 12:38 p.m., dispatch reported that the road had reopened and traffic patterns had returned to normal.
