Doggy Speed Dating at Native

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 24, 2024 – Have you ever thought about speed dating but without the awkwardness of trying to make small talk over a candlelit table? Well, what if I told you speed dating is coming to Native, but with a heartwarming twist?

This event isn’t about finding your next romantic match – it’s all about connecting adoptable pets with their potential new families! Mark your calendars and prepare your hearts, because this Saturday, June 29th, Native will be buzzing with wagging tails and puppy love.

In collaboration with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, Native is bringing you a PAW-sitively delightful morning dedicated to helping adorable dogs find their forever homes. From 10 to noon, Native will be the place to be if you’re considering adding a furry friend to your family.

How It Works

Picture this: rows of adoptable dogs eagerly awaiting their chance to meet you. Much like traditional speed dating, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with each dog, spending a few precious moments getting to know their personality, quirks, and boundless energy. But instead of a date profile, you’ll review each dog’s PAWfile – a cute and informative rundown of their age, breed, and a little backstory.

Not only will you get to meet these lovable dogs face-to-face, but you’ll also have a chance to see how they fit into your lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for a jogging buddy, a Netflix partner, or a playful companion for your kids, this event will help you find the perfect match.

Native has always been giving back to our community by hosting and creating cool events that bring Jonesboro closer together.

“We love partnering with local nonprofits and giving back both financially and through meaningful experiences”, says Native Marketing Manager Lindsey Spencer.  “The humane society is especially close to our hearts as we pride ourselves on a space that is welcoming to dogs! We’ve partnered with the humane society before – most notably through our Halloween pet costume contest – and are honored to see that partnership grow and extend to other events. This is sure to be a day to remember!”.

If you’ve been thinking about adopting a dog, this is the perfect opportunity to meet a variety of pups in one place. Even if you’re not ready to adopt, coming out to support the event means you’re contributing to a great cause. Plus, let’s be honest – who doesn’t love spending a morning surrounded by adorable dogs and eating good food?

By attending, you’ll not only make a positive impact on these dogs’ lives but also experience the joy of connecting with other dog lovers in our community. Whether you leave with a new furry friend or simply a smile on your face, you’ll be part of something truly special.

So, grab your family, friends, and anyone who loves dogs as much as we do, and join Native and the NEAHS on June 29th for a morning filled with wagging tails, happy barks, and the possibility of finding your new fur baby.
