Gov. Sanders announces appointments, 1 from Jonesboro

Little Rock, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 6, 2025 – Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Friday announced the following appointments, one of whom is from Jonesboro.

Workers’ Compensation Commission

Scott Willhite, Jonesboro, to the Workers’ Compensation Commission. Term to expire Dec. 31, 2030. Reappointment.

Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks

John Mark Goings, Little Rock, to the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks. Term to expire Dec. 31, 2027. Reappointment. 

Chris Howell, Searcy, to the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks. Term to expire Dec.31, 2028. Reappointment. 

Elliot Blackmon, Glenwood, to the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks. Term to expire Dec. 31, 2027. Previously vacant position.

Sara Gallien, Springdale, to the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks. Term to expire Dec. 31, 2025. Previously vacant position.

Scott Skelton, Quitman, to the Advisory Committee on Petroleum Storage Tanks. Term to expire Dec. 31, 2025. Previously vacant position.

Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board

Anna Cook, North Little Rock, to the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board. Term to expire June 30, 2028. Reappointment. 

Stephen Logan Haile, Conway, to the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board. Term to expire June 30, 2028. Previously vacant position. 

Rachel Howard, Maumelle, to the Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board. Term to expire June 30, 2026. Replaces Elizabeth Crone.

Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission

Daniel Sims, Conway, to the Arkansas Spinal Cord Commission. Term to expire Jan. 14, 2035. Previously vacant position.

Brandon Kitchens, Little Rock, to the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners. Term to expire Sept. 1, 2029. Replaces Dwight Duckworth.
