JET offers free rides for Tax Free Weekend

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 28, 2024 – Jonesboro Economical Transit (JETs Bus Line) is offering free rides on fixed bus routes Saturday, August 3rd, 2024 for back-to-school shoppers. The State of Arkansas traditionally designates the first weekend in August as state sales tax free shopping day on items typically needed for school, such as school supplies and clothing.

“Many parents struggle with transportation. We are happy to provide this small service to help them prepare for their children to return to school. We strive to support our community and neighbors” said JETs Director Lee Wells.

JETs Bus’s regular fixed routes for Saturday August 3 service can be found on our website or by calling our office the JET office at 870.935.5387.
