Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will celebrate Library Card Sign-Up Month throughout September with two special giveaways designed to encourage community members to sign up for or renew a library card and engage with the library.

The first giveaway will give adult library cardholders an opportunity to participate in a library engagement challenge. Patrons can pick up an activity card and earn stamps by completing three activities: checking out a staff pick, checking out an item currently on display, and attending a library program or event.

Once patrons complete the activities, they can turn in their completed card at the Circulation Desk for a chance to win a Kindle Paperwhite and a 40-ounce “I Love My Library” tumbler.

At the end of the month, a winner will be randomly selected from qualifying new and renewed cardholders to receive a special-edition Book Lovers Scrabble game.

Library Card Sign-Up Month is an opportunity for community members to discover the many resources, programs, services, and experiences available through the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library.

The library is located at 315 W. Oak Ave. For more information about the library, visit its website, Facebook page, or call 870-935-5133.
