Jonesboro Library Hosts AR Kids Community Workshop

Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host the AR Kids Read Community Workshop in the Round Room on Tuesday, July 28, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Families with children in 1st through 3rd grade, as well as community members, are invited to attend and learn more about the changing landscape of standardized literacy assessments.

The workshop will provide attendees with strategies for supporting literacy at home and information on how to advocate for young readers. Parents, caregivers, and family members will have the opportunity to learn more about helping children build strong reading skills.

The event is free, and registration is not required.
