Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will be hosting a National Voter Registration Day event from 10 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the library.

Tables with voter registration forms will be set up near the main entrances of the library lobby throughout the day. Representatives from the library, League of Women Voters and the American Association of University Women will be available to assist community members with the voter registration process and answer questions.

Completed voter registration forms will be collected and dropped off at the end of the event. In addition to voter registration opportunities, the library will offer cupcakes, cookies, refreshments, and other activities throughout the day for community members to enjoy.

The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library encourages eligible community members to take part in National Voter Registration Day and use this opportunity to register to vote or make sure their voter registration information is up to date.

National Voter Registration Day is a national, nonpartisan civic holiday dedicated to celebrating democracy and helping eligible Americans register to vote and keep their registration information up to date.
