Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library will host “NEAHS Presents: So, You Think You Want a Dog…” on Friday, Aug. 7, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
This program will help community members learn how to prepare their homes and families before adopting a new furry friend.

Presented by the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, the program will cover important steps to consider before bringing a pet into the home, including ways to create a safe and welcoming environment for a new dog. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and greet a furry ambassador from the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society.
Whether attendees are considering adopting a pet soon or simply want to learn more about responsible pet ownership, this program will provide helpful information and resources for future pet owners.
This events is free and registration is not required.
