Jonesboro Unilever Facility Announces Job Cuts

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Production and shift schedule changes are impacting 57 employees at the Jonesboro Unilever facility, according to a statement made to K8.

Impacted employees will receive severance packages, outplacement services, reskilling education, and development training.

Unilever also confirmed to K8 that Jonesboro is “an important location in its supply chain network.”

According to a local Unilever source, affected employees will have 60 days to find another job before the termination takes effect. “If they’re on the list, they’re given 60 days,” the source said. “I wasn’t privy to the list.”

The source added that local operations are not expected to be affected and everything should continue as usual.
