Jonesboro woman killed in Friday morning crash

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – August 31, 2025 – A woman was killed in a single vehicle accident early Friday morning in Craighead County.

According to an Arkansas State Police traffic fatality report Mirinda Neldon, 71, Jonesboro was killed.

Craighead County Deputy Sheriff Kalab White said Neldon was driving a 2011 Toyota Avalon West on Craighead County Road 324 when the vehicle left the road in a curve and struck a tree head-on.

The accident occurred at about 7:45am Friday.
