JRN Upgrades Mobile App with a Cleaner Look

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Jonesboro Right Now has launched an upgraded mobile app to provide better ways to get local news and information across Northeast Arkansas. The new mobile app has several upgrades and added features.

In addition to a cleaner, easier-to-use look, the new app includes:

  • Saved: Got a push alert for an article that you don’t have time to read right now? Click the bookmark icon to save it for later. Your saved articles will appear under a button at the bottom. Click the bookmark again when you’re done.
  • Weather: Click the temperature icon up top to get current conditions and the forecast – both hourly and daily. Plus, there’s an improved local radar map with rolling radar going back 15 minutes.
  • Search: The new search mode is quick and easy, allowing you to search through Jonesboro Right Now articles.
  • Night mode: For those who prefer a dark background, click the night mode icon to switch between light and dark themes.
  • Share: It’s much easier to share articles with the new app, passing local news to your friends by text, email, or over social media.
  • Push alerts: A more robust tool for breaking news notifications across Jonesboro and Craighead County. Check under Account to make sure they’re turned on. (There’s no need to sign in.)
  • Breaking: When major news breaks, rolling text will appear across the top of the app.
