Juveniles identified in rash of break-ins

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – August 24, 2025 – Jonesboro Police have responded to a rash of breaking or entering and taking articles from vehicles incidents(BNEs) that took place last weekend.

According to a post on the Jonesboro Police Department Facebook page there were over 16 reports of break-ins reported to JPD within a short period of time. On Monday JPD detectives were dispatched across the city to investigate and “work to solve these crimes,” according to the post.

Two vehicles, computers, guns, credit cards and other items were recovered over the course of two days of investigations. The post said multiple juveniles were taken into custody.

The post indicated that the majority of the stolen items were recovered during the criminal investigative division (CID) investigation. The items will be processed and returned to the rightful owners.

“We are extremely proud of this hard-working division and appreciate their time and dedication to resolve these and other crimes within our city,” the post read.

The identifies of the juveniles taken into custody were not released due to rules regarding the release of juvenile identities involved in crimes.
