Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 1 – A Jonesboro man is being held on a $175,000 bond after a judge found probable cause to charge him with first-degree terroristic threatening, a class D felony.

Cody Eakes, 31, was arrested on Tuesday on Johnson Avenue after a man said Eakes pulled a knife on him, asked him for money and threatened to fight him. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a business.

The victim was able to get back into his vehicle and go to the front of the business where he notified employees what occurred.

When officers arrived, they found Eakes at a neighboring business and took him into custody.

His next court date is June 28 in Craighead County Circuit Court.
