Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 4, 2025 – Marybeth Byrd, an American Idol finalist and Arkansas native, will be performing on the lawn at the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library later in September.

The concert is free and open to the public. The library will be providing limited seating; however, attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets, according to a news release from the library.

“I’m so thankful to work such an incredible, well-connected team in Nashville who specialize in artist development and creative process,” Byrd said in the news release. “Not only do we believe in good communication and efficiency to put on the best show, but also audience engagement through our well-crafted set lists. There is something for everyone!”

Andy’s Frozen Custard will also be on the lawn to hand out free ice cream.

The concert is part of the library’s ongoing “Your Library, Your Story,” campaign, which is a community-driven effort launched earlier this year encouraging people to share how their lives have been affected by the library.

The library is located at 315 W. Oak Ave. Byrd’s performance will be Sept. 18 at 6 p.m.

For more information about Byrd’s performance, visit the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library’s website and follow its social media pages for updates.
