Update at 4:47 p.m. Aug. 19, 2026 (by Jody Barker): The ARDOT camera shows that the scene has been cleared and traffic is flowing as normal.

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – A traffic accident has led to parts of Interstate 555 in Jonesboro being closed.

According to Jonesboro E911 dispatch, all northbound traffic on the interstate is closed at the Woodsprings Road exit (Exit 46) due to the accident which occurred at Mile Marker 46.4. Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
