Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Dusty: Dusty is an almost 4-year-old female who has been in the shelter for 24 weeks. She came in heartworm positive but has completed treatment successfully. At 45 lbs, Dusty is a medium-sized mix, and she is up to date on all her vaccines and preventatives. She’s affectionate and energetic and ready for her furever home!
