Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Huey: An 11-month-old male, Huey is one of the Ducktales brothers, who’ve been in the shelter for 11 weeks. Huey is microchipped, neutered, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and heartworm negative. A medium mix, he plays well with other dogs, both from his litter and otherwise.
