Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Autumn: Autumn is a 6-month-old female and appears to be a medium-sized black lab mix. She’s been in the shelter for 17 weeks and is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. She’s already microchipped and only weighs 34 lbs. Most importantly, she’s a joy to be around! Autumn has never met a dog, person, or event that she doesn’t love!

Meet Rhiannon: Rhiannon is a 10-month-old domestic short-haired female cat. She’s been in the shelter for 18 weeks and has been microchipped and spayed. She’s also up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. Rhiannon is one of Oscar’s girlfriends, so she has her own condo (instead of a kennel). She’s curious and playful and ready to go home!
