Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Michelle: Michelle is an 18-week-old tabby domestic shorthair. She’s been in the shelter for two weeks, but she’s already a staff favorite! She and her brother, Barack, are very playful and affectionate, and both are ready for their furever homes!

Meet Dewey: Dewey came to the shelter four days ago with his brothers, Huey and Louie. He’s eight months old, weighs 38.4 lbs., and appears to be a smaller-sized lab mix. He’s heartworm negative, energetic, and easy to please!
