Police investigate 2nd Thursday shooting

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – September 18, 2025 – Jonesboro Police are investigating a second shooting that occurred on Thursday evening.

KAIT reported that JPD responded to reports of shots fired on Meadowbrook Road around 7pm Thursday.

The report said a fight apparently broke out in the area during which shots were fired. Police said no injuries were reported.

According to the report, four people were detained by police with one arrest made.

The Craighead County Detention Center online inmate roster reflects a 30-year-old male was booked into the jail at 9:35pm. However, no charges were listed, and there is no confirmation the inmate is the person arrested resulting from the Meadowbrook Road shooting.
