Portion of Craighead County Road to Close Starting Tuesday for Road Work

Craighead County, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A portion of a Craighead County road will be closed starting Tuesday for road work.

According to a news release from the Craighead County Road Department, the section of CR 862 between CR 849 and Highway 139 will be closed for a bridge replacement. The closure begins Tuesday, May 26, at 8 a.m. and is expected to last for four weeks, or until the replacement is complete.

Detour signs will be posted to alert motorists, and commuters should account for extra travel time.
