Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Two Jonesboro sex offenders are behind bars after police said they each failed to comply with reporting requirements in two separate cases.

On June 15, District Judge David Boling found probable cause to charge two men, 35-year-old Cameron Dewayne Lambert and 51-year-old Kuno Fulani Wise, each with one Class C felony: Failure to register – failure to comply with reporting requirements.

Lambert was convicted of fourth-degree sexual assault on March 7, 2013. Wise was convicted of second-degree sexual assault on May 14, 2009. Both men were assessed by the Sex Offender Communication Notification Assessment as level two sex offenders.

Lambert’s affidavit states that on Oct. 27, 2025, he registered with the appropriate agency and gave an address of an apartment in the 300 block of Garden Manor Drive with a scheduled return date of March 7 for his bi-yearly registration. However, he became delinquent on March 16 and made no attempt to contact his agency.

Wise’s affidavit states that he was last seen on Jan. 6 for his bi-yearly registration and provided an address of a home in the 200 block of Olive Street. On March 2, police received information from the property owner that the property had been vacated and was no longer occupied by Wise. He was said not to have attempted to contact his agency about an address change.

State law requires registered offenders to report any changes to their home/mailing address, or temporary domicile, and to do so no later than five days before establishing that address as their location. The offender must also report to the local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction at the new address within five days of relocation.

The jail roster shows that Lambert and Wise were both arrested on June 12. Lambert is being held on a $150,000 cash/surety bond.

Wise is being held on a $25,000 cash/surety bond. He was previously convicted in 2015 of failure to comply with reporting requirements. As a condition of Wise’s bond, he must report within 48 hours.

Lambert and Wise are both scheduled to appear in court on July 30. If convicted, they each face up to 10 years in prison and fines up to $10,000.
