Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – June 5, 2024 – The Veterans of Foreign Wars local post will be holding its 249th anniversary of the U.S. Army on June 14 at the post, 300 Airport Road.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

“We will have our oldest veteran Verland Williams, a Korean war veteran, and the youngest recruit for the Army cutting the cake together. Also, our guest speaker is going to be Alvin Tate, the new VFW State Commander for Arkansas,” according to the post.
