This week’s Dogs That Rock are available from The Arkansas Pet Savers. The Arkansas Pet Savers (TAPS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue. They are a foster-based organization; therefore, TAPS do not have a facility. All dogs rescued are housed in local volunteer foster homes until an adopter or rescue commitment is found. Most dogs that they rescue are taken from kill shelters, many times just days or even minutes away from euthanasia. Since 2017, TAPS has saved over 1,000 dogs per year.  TAPS is 100 percent volunteer-based and relies on donations to help feed, house, and provide medical attention to all rescued animals.
