ALCOHOL COULD BE SOLD AT ASU SPORTS EVENTS

ASTATE Sports fans have always said, “ASU will sell alcohol on campus when hell freezes over.” Well hell just froze over or at least it’s getting really frosty there. According to a report on the KAIT 8 website, the ASU Board of Trustees will enter into an agreement with NEA Sports Club, a non-profit organization to sell alcoholic beverages on campus. In a press release from the University, the move is to accommodate fans who have requested access to alcohol and to attract new tourism-related activities as well as bring in additional funding for the Red Wolf Foundation. According to the press release, alcohol will be sold at select sections of Centennial Bank Stadium, Tomlinson Ballpark, and the Convocation Center for sporting events. Alcohol sales will also include concerts and other entertainment.
