Get Your Phil

BEFORE THEY WERE STARS

So last year a local singer/songwriter tried out for the reality singing show The Voice. Unfortunately things didn’t go the way Callie MaRea wanted and she didn’t make it on the show. However, what she did make was a lot of strong friendships with other singers trying out for The Voice. Callie came back to Jonesbboro determined more than ever to make it in the music industry. She was schedule to play a show at The Brickhouse Grill in downtown. Performing with her were three of her fellow singers. One was named Trent Harmon. All of them stopped by the Eagle’s Nest to promote that night’s show. I had never heard of Trent Harmon and honestly didn’t remember he had been with the group of singers I had interviewed until a couple of nights ago. Well I’m happy to announce Trent has made to the finale of American Idol. He will be competing for the title of the Final American Idol, ever tonight on Fox TV. He’s up against some tough competition in a young lady named La’Portia Renea. She has an amazing voice. But Trent has made a very strong case that he should win the title as well. Check out the video of Trent sing “Chandelier” by SIA on American Idol. And below is a pic of Trent hangin’ in the Eagle’s Nest last year. Share this page with your FB friends. Thank!
