DOGS THAT ROCK!!!

Welcome to The Eagle’s Dogs That Rock! Jonesboro Radio Group is helping find forever homes for deserving dogs from the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society in Jonesboro. Each week we feature at least three Dogs That Rock available for adoption. Please take the time to look at all of our dog pictures. If you see a dog you connect with, call the NEAHS at 870-932-5185. BARK FOR BARKLEY: Barkely is a 7-month-old male who weighs around 40 lbs and has been in the shelter for 19 weeks. He’s energetic and enthusiastic about everything! But unfortunately, that’s deterred rather than attracted adopters for him. (If you’ve had a lab or lab mix puppy before, you know! You either love their big energy, or you don’t!) Barkley’s ready for a home that can do big plays! He’s been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on all of his shots. If you’re looking for a buddy for outdoor adventures this summer, he’s your guy! LET’S GET BARKLEY INTO HIS FOREVER HOME!!!

TAKE A LOOK AT TITO: At 7 and half years old, Tito has a different problem when it comes to attracting adopters. He frequently gets passed over for younger dogs, but he’s incredibly healthy and much calmer and better behaved than his younger counterparts! He’s been in the shelter for a year and a half. Tito is HW negative, up to date on all of his vaccines and preventatives, neutered and only 64 lbs. If you want a dog to hang with while you binge-watch your favorite shows on the weekend, you’ll love Tito. PLEASE ADOPT BARKLEY TODAY!!!

GET A LOAD AT GHOUL: Ghoul is a prime example of great dog, great family, not a great a fit. He’s been adopted and returned twice already, and it’s not his fault or his former adopters’. He’s only 10 months old and is incredibly energetic AND intelligent. (We think he may be a rat terrier sort mix). So he not only needs a family but a “job” (even if it’s a fake one!). He’s under 40 lbs, is HW negative, up to date on all of his shots, neutered, and microchipped, so he’s ready to roll when his great fit finally comes along! And we know it will, as he’s a very sweet boy. PLEASE GIVE GHOUL A CHANCE AT A FOREVER HOME!!!

Dominican WBC loss ends on called strike that appeared low, a week before robot umps arrive in MLB

Geraldo Perdomo watched Mason Miller's full-count slider appear to drop just under the strike zone and took a step toward his team's dugout on the third-base side, thinking he walked to put runners at the corners. Then plate umpire Cory Blaser emphatically signaled strike three, stranding the potential tying run at third base and giving the United States a 2-1 win Sunday night that advanced the Americans to the World Baseball Classic championship game against Venezuela or Italy.
