GIVE GUMBO A CHANCE: A local vet was concerned about a dog that one of our welfare investigators went to check on. The owners surrendered the dog, the vet vaccinated and treated the dog for sarcoptic mange, and now we’ve got the dog up for adoption! Gumbo is a one-year-old, 51 lbs male lab mix who is HW negative and up to date on preventatives and vaccines; he’ll also be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. He’s affectionate and energetic, and when you meet him, you’ll understand how he captured so many hearts so quickly! PLEASE GIVE GUMBO A FOREVER HOME TODAY!!!

MEET SCARLETTE: A local dog trainer found Scarlette covered in fleas and ticks and eating roadkill close to her kennel. She offered to house and care for her as a foster if we provided the medical care, so of course, we agreed! Scarlette is a very small terrier mix, who we estimate to be around 6 years old. Aside from being HW positive, she’s otherwise in fairly good health. She’s up to date on vaccines and preventatives and will be spayed and chipped before adopted. Scarlette is quiet and cuddly and will make someone the perfect pet! PLEASE ADOPT SCARLETTE TODAY!!!
