Space geeks everywhere are waiting with baited breath for data and imagery to be returned from the Cassini spacecraft from a place no other spacecraft has been…between Saturn and her amazing rings. We won’t know until Thursday if the mission went as planned. To protect Cassini’s antenna from ring debris, the spacecraft was turned towards Saturn leaving it unable to transmit data to Earth.
