NATIONAL PURPLE HEART DAY

August 7th has been designated as National Purple Heart Day. The Purple Heart medal is award to those in military service wounded or killed by the enemy in battle. It is one of the most honored medals in the military. But how did the Purple Heart medal come to be. This video will give you the history of the Purple Heart and some recipients you might not know about.
