PLANE PARACHUTES TO SAFETY

This is amazing to watch. A single engine plane was forced to use it’s emergency parachute after experiencing engine problems. The plane was piloted by a former Walmart CEO and came down in Fayetteville, Ar. in the middle of MLK Blvd. The plane scraped a truck but no serious injuries were reported. My question is why don’t all planes have these kinds of emergency devices?

They also said it would cause "severe and irreparable harm" to his reputation by subjecting him to "public ridicule and harassment."
