TAKING DOWN HISTORY

Whether you agree or disagree, the moment the Confederate flag was removed from the South Carolina State Capitol was a moment in history. For years the Flag that represented the Confederate States of America during the Civil War became a symbol of heritage to southerners. While to others, the flag represented hate and slavery. Today, Friday, July 10th at approximately 9am the Confederate flag was lowered from the South Carolina state grounds and will be displayed about one mile away at the Confederate Military Museum. Here’s the video of the South Carolina State Police Honor Guard taking down the flag.
